Double seat valves are used to efficiently process two different liquids through the valve at the same time. The design has two seats that isolate the upper and lower pipelines when valve is in closed position.
The vent cavity between the seats creates a pathway for any leakage in the event of seal failure, as well as drain for the CIP solution during seat cleaning. An external CIP sprayer is included to provide improved leak and vent cavity cleaning when the valve is closed or open during production.
